The site is located to the South East of the junction between Dinting Lane and Dinting Road, Glossop. It is a site that

gently slopes down from Dinting Road to the railway line to the South. The site is bound by the railway line to the

South, Dinting Road to the North, Dinting Lane to the West and an un-named road to the East. The site is within the

established residential area of Higher Dinting with existing houses on Dinting Road and on the un-named road to the East.

 

There are public rights of way to 3 sides of the site, providing easy pedestrian access to Dinting railway station and

local facilities such as; Tesco, Dinting and St Luke's Primary Schools, The Wren's Nest public house and Wren's Nest Retail Park .

Dinting Road, to the North of the site benefits from regular bus services to Glossop, Hadfield, Simmondley, Chisworth

and Chapel-en-le-Frith. It is also only a short walk to the A57 which has regular bus links to Ashton-under-Lyne,

Hyde, Mottram and Stockport.
